Annapackiam is a victim of dwarfism and is physically challenged. She is the only breadwinner for her family that includes a mentally challenged younger brother and her aged mother.

She had a small grocery shop which did not give her sufficient income to meet the basic needs of her family.

She joined Mahasemam and availed Rs.5000 as collateral free loan. Today she earns Rs.175 per day. She has also developed a goat rearing unit which is managed by her aged mother.

She says “ Mahasemam enrolled me as a member despite my physical disability, encouraged and empowered me by providing financial help at the time of need. ”
