Husband deserted Latha after she gave birth to 3 daughters. Life had become miserable.Getting one meal per day for her children was a problem.She had learnt tailoring but did not have money to buy a tailoring machine. Day to Day responsibilities increased and debt mounted.

Latha became a member of Mahasemam. She availed first loan of Rs.5000 and started a tailoring shop. She bought a tailoring machine and an over lock.

She has a prosperous tailoring business. She is now providing education to her children. She runs a successful tailoring cum training center for other women in her village.
