Mahasemam trust has an independent board of trustees, with professionals drawn from diverse fields offering various expertises. The board of trustee which looks into the governance issues and guides the organization to achieve greater heights. This board of trustee is headed by Dr. N. Sethuraman, who is the President for the Mahasemam Trust.

Management is strengthened with the presence of professionals and ex-bankers who are experienced and able to carry out the operation in an effective manner. Thus leading the organization towards its mission of alleviating poverty by empowering women.
